One blink away from yesterday’s future
Yet one dream away from tomorrows past
Seizing a puddle
Of reflection
Within the palm of my reborn hand
Held in the other
My aura
Incoherent
I serenely wash it within the crystal stream
My repentance
Spent
Now content
Walking
Through my own
Awakened dream
But
It just dawned on me
I will never bestow my own gaze
Upon my own face
Without that puddle
